Future Goodbye: a New Painting at yoursilentface.com /  by Tim Lane

I didn’t want to return to paper, but I’m glad I did. This piece took on a life of its own and part of the reason was because sometimes working with “less precious” materials lends itself to some bold spontaneity. It’s for sale in the shop. Thanks for visiting yoursilentface.com.

Twin Feature (Intermission): A New Painting /  by Tim Lane

My imagination cannot let go of what the future might hold. Astroids transformed into interstellar spacecrafts, or spacecrafts terraformed into comet-like space objects… stealth machines roving the terrain of distant planets…

On the Cusp: A New Painting /  by Tim Lane

I really enjoyed working on this painting. I think 36”x36” is my favorite size. What thoughts went into this one? All of them: the past, the present, the future. Where we’ve been, the state of things now, what’s about to happen. It feels like we’re in a big moment—we are in a big moment.

A New Space Painting /  by Tim Lane

I forced myself to start a new painting and let the ideas follow. Best idea came while I was walking up to the coffee shop. Things come to me while I am walking.
