I’ve enjoyed bring back the fleur de lis. It was almost instinctual. I wanted to see the image combined with the burning car. The last two paintings have taken the series in a slightly different direction, visually. Please take a moment to visit the galleries, the shop and everything else. Thanks for stopping by!

Death of My Star: a New Painting /
I’m proud of this painting because I took a lot of chances. I tried some things that didn’t work, but I didn’t give up on the piece. And I’m glad I didn’t because it came together. Thanks to my art group for telling me when it was done.
The first image below was taken with outdoor lighting. The second was taken with indoor lighting.

New Painting Alert: Burst Mode, 2025 /
Still working on canvas right now. I am pleased with how this turned out. I hope you like it, too.
New Painting Alert: Alone /
Alone Now Is the Same as Alone Then is my first big effort in 2025. Space continues to be a lens through which I see so many universal themes. Spend some time in my galleries and other links to see what you think of my work: paintings, novels, poetry, playlists, photo series. Twenty-plus years of work. Listen here.
